Starting September 10th and running thru November 21st, Hayrides will be available to enjoy the beauty of fall in scenic Binder Park. These hayrides are perfect for families, a group of friends, office parties, youth groups and more. Evening hayrides are 2-21/2 hours in length and are available 7 days a week. the city of Osage Beach will hold their 10th annual fall festival on Saturday Sept 11th from 10-5 at the Osage Beach City Park. Again this year it will feature the 'Lake's Got Talent contest and Bow Wow Contests. Rules, information, and entry forms are located at the city hall or log onto www.osagebeach.org. At this years festival, plan to enjoy a fun filled day of food, crafts, entertainment, kids activities and more.

  Tea Party Event
The Newcomers/Longtimers social organization will hold their traditional membership tea gathering on Thursday Sept. 16th from 2-4 at 7 Springs Winery. The Tea is held to encourage new membership and is open to anyone interested in becoming a prospective member. The theme this year is "An Afternoon of Wine and Roses".   Students wanted for foreign exchange program
Rotary International is looking for outstanding high school students who would like to represent the nation as junior ambassadors to France, Thailand, Australia and Ecuador. Students could spend a year experiencing what it is like to live in another country.

The 1st annual Block Party for our community will be held on Saturday September 18th from 6-8pm. It's free and everyone is encouraged to stop by. It will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles. There will be, free food and drinks, give away bags, haircuts for children, snow cones, clowns, balloons, music and much more.

The Jefferson City Medical Group will host a free Fun Walk/Run for the community on Saturday September 18th. Registration begins at 8:15am at the JCMG parking lot by the bridge. The walk begins at 9am. Adult participants will receive a free t-shirt and the kids will get a free Frisbee. The event takes place rain or shine. The 2nd annual Osage Beach City Wide garage sale will be held Saturday Sept. 18th from 8-2 at homes through-out Osage Beach. Booths are also available in the parking lot at City Hall. This garage sale will be held rain or shine.

Interested in ballroom dancing? The Lake Area Dance Assoc. (LADA) and the Camden County Historical Society are sponsoring the Fall Festival Dance on Sunday, Sept. 26th from 2-5 at the Camden County Museum on V road and hwy 54 in Linn Creek. Dance the waltz, fox trot, swing, cha-cha and others to the big band sound of the Lake Jazz Band. The cost is $6 a person.
