A Camdenton teen is dead and a man is seriously injured when a pick-up truck going the wrong way on Highway 54 in Jefferson City crashed into a car. Police were trying to stop the pick-up truck going east in the westbound lanes of Highway 54 when the crash occurred at the highway 179 overpass about 10:00 Wednesday night. 19-year old Chelsea Fredrickson pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car, Jasper Richmond was life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia. Police say they think the driver of the pick-up truck, Dennis Leporin had been drinking.
