Lake Ozark Police are reporting that there is a power line down across the road on Highway 54 and 242 and stoplight issues at US 54 and Bagnell Dam Blvd near Ricks C store. Camden County Emergency Management is reporting trees down in the Sunrise Beach area, live wires down and power outages in the Osage Beach area due to this evenings storms.

Eldon Man in Custody Following Domestic Disturbance
Eldon Police were called to a home in the city limits just before 8:00 Tuesday evening. The original call said shots had been fired and a man had been shot in the leg. Eldon Police Chief Rodney Fair says when officers arrived they found that no one had been shot or injured. One shot had been fired into the ground. It appears 2 men and a woman were fighting. The man who fired the shot left the house. Authorities began searching for the suspect and he was located early this morning and is now being held in the Miller County jail.
Bagnell Dam Closed To Traffic Today
Ameren UE will temporarily close Bagnell Dam on Business Route 54 in Miller County on Monday, May 13 to perform survey work, weather permitting. The dam will be closed to traffic between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes during the closure. Motorists’ patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
School Of Osage School Bus Involved in Morning Accident
School of the Osage Beach Officials say it does not appear that any students or the driver were seriously injured in this morning’s accident on Business 4 in front of Paul’s Supermarket and Baxter’s Restaurant in Lake Ozark. Emergency crews responded to the crash around 7:40 this morning. Authorities s say the school bus was hit by a car that was rear ended by another vehicle. One of the vehicles’s overturned. The driver of one The cause of the accident is under investigation.

A 43-year old Camdenton woman is in custody following a search of her home on Dogwood Drive in Camdenton this week. Camden County Deputies, Police and officers with the Lake Area narcotics Enforcement group served the warrant and seized five ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Andrea Ulrich is being held in the Camden County jail on a five-thousand dollar bond.

Eldon Woman Injured in One Car Crash Monday
A 66-year old Eldon woman is recovering from moderate injuries after she ran off Highway 52 in Miller County around 4:00 Monday afternoon. The Highway Patrol says Karren Wood ran off the road and her Ford Ranger overturned. She was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
Burglar Caught in Jefferson City
A 46-year old Jefferson City man is facing burglary charges after being cuaght at an East side home Monday night. Officers were called to the home on East Capitol about a burglary in progress. Officers spotted the suspect and a woman coming out of the building. The man had a hacksaw and other items but told officers he had permission to be there. He now faces charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
5-Year old Put in Trunk of Car by Her Grandparents
A 5-year old girl is ok after being placed in the truck of her grandparents car. Jefferson City Police received a call from a shopper at Menards who said she heard a voice from the trunk of a car yelling let me out. The caller then saw a couple get out of the car, open the truck and the girl climbed out. Marc and Mary Vaucher of Fulton admitted to police they bought two tables at another store and did not have enough room to place them in the trunk, so they put their granddaughter in the trunk and the tables in the backseat of the car. They were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child. The girl is now in the custody of another family member.
Climax Spring School Bus Overturns
Around 7:15 this morning a school bus for the Climax Springs school district carrying 7 students slid off the road turning on its side and landed against a tree. Emergency Medical personnel from the Northwest Fire Porection distirct responded to FF in Western Camden County. The students were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for observation. All injuries were minor. the school bus driver says as the bus started to go downhill, they must have hit some black ice causing the bus to slide. the Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Route B Bridge will Be Closed Wednesday Night in Cole County
The Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that the Route B bridge over the Osage River in Cole County will be completely closed to traffic from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 to to 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, weather permitting. The closure will allow the contractor on the bridge rehabilitation job to lay a new deck on the bridge.
Motorists are advised to use the following detours during the one-night only closure:
From the south, take Route M east to Route 50 east to Route 63 south to
Route 133 south.
From the north, take Route 133 north to Route 63 north to Route 50 west to
Route M west.
