A Pulaski County Deputy stopped a vehicle that was weaving on Highway 133 in the Hancock area Thursday evening.
The driver of the vehicle had an invalid Missouri driver's license. A passenger in the vehicle appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
The deputy then found the two to be in the possession of a small amount of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia. In addition a syringe and a very small plastic bag thought to contain methamphetamine were located.
A total of four air tanks of the type normally used to transport anhydrous ammonia were also found in the vehicle.
An officer from the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group was called in to assist the Pulaski County deputies with their investigation. At this time the investigation continues and the suspect names will not be released pending the filing of any charges.
