Judge Rules in Favor of John Q Hammons

The way is now cleared for the developer to build a 100 million dollar hotel and resort.

By: Stacy Johnson  on 2010-03-09

A Judge has ruled in favor of Developer John Q Hammons and the city of Osage Beach concerning the 3.5 million dollar tax increment financing plan.

About two years ago Four Seasons Marina and Rentals and Four Seasons Lakesites filed a lawsuit against Hammons and the city  claiming the TIF was unjust.

The ruling this week now paves the way for the  100 million dollar Hotel and Resort to become reality.

The Hammons project was originally scheduled to be completed next month. The plaintiffs were ordered to pay court costs.
