Ellis Blvd at Tanner Bridge to Close
Jefferson City Officials say Ellis Boulevard at Tanner Bridge Road will be closed Beginning July 26.

The City of Jefferson, with its contractor J.C. Industries, will be starting the second phase of work associated with the roundabout project and will now be closing Ellis Boulevard at Tanner Bridge. The closure will begin on Monday July 26, 2010 after 6:00 a.m. and will be closed until August 27, 2010, weather and construction progress permitting.
Signage will be installed to warn of the road closure and a detour route will be posted. The detour route during the closure will be as follows: (map attached)
Those traveling westbound will take a right on Green Berry Rd to Moreau Drive to Leslie Boulevard to Stadium Boulevard and then Jefferson Street to Ellis Boulevard.
Those traveling eastbound will take a left on Jefferson Street to Stadium Boulevard to Leslie Boulevard to Moreau Drive/Green Berry Rd to Ellis Boulevard.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area during closure and should use caution during this time period. For additional information contact the Department of Community Development at 573/634-6410.
