When the Osage Beach Fire Protection District responded heavy smoke was showing from the attic and roof area of the two story home. The fire was located in the attic and crews were able to get the fire under control in about 20 minutes.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other portions of the house.

The fire was caused by a lighting strike and was reported by several people in the area. Damage to the home is listed at 75,000 dollars. There were no injuries.
