KZWV-FM, better known as "1019, The Wave" is owned by Wright Communications, LLLP, which includes partners from the central Missouri region. Headed by Randy Wright, the current General Manager of KMIZ-TV/Fox38/KZOU-TV/Show-Me Weather of Columbia-Jefferson City, Missouri, Wright Communications is committed to the highest quality local broadcasting.
"1019, The Wave" is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to serve the central Missouri region as a "C-2" FM radio station operating with 42,500 watts of effective radiated power from a 500 foot tower located between Eldon, Missouri and Bagnell Dam, which forms the Lake of the Ozarks. From this transmission site, The Wave serves hundreds of thousands of central Missourians.
The Wave's studio and business office is located in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks business district, 1019, The Wave operates from a state of the art studio and office facility furnished by Samco Business Products of Jefferson City and the Lake region.
